
The origins of the Lippolis Agricultural Company date back to 1985 when the Lippolis family, driven by their great passion for gastronomy, inaugurated the butcher’s shop (still located today in Via Mazzini n° 56/58 in Polignano a Mare), embarking on a long career full of successes and satisfactions in the culinary art. Already the owner of immense expanses of centuries-old olive trees and vineyards, she obtained excellent harvests in those years which gave rise to the brilliant idea of founding an agricultural company and establishing a brand in the mind of one of his sons, Cosimo Lippolis.
In the early days the butcher’s shop played an extremely important role because it allowed already loyal customers to get to know the product and place it on the market. Soon, due to the growing demand and the enormous success achieved in a short time, production expanded to include pickles, jams and many other Apulian specialities.
