Coopera is a cooperative, founded in March 2017, whose main objective is to create work in the field of culture and catering for young people under 30.
Since the moment of its foundation, Coopera has been linked to a headquarters in the heart of the historic center of Putignano (BA), within which all the projects promoted and organized by the cooperative came to life.
The souls of Coopera are mainly two:
A cultural centre: every month within its headquarters, Coopera hosts concerts, theatrical performances, book presentations, cultural talks, stand up comedy and all kinds of cultural activities.
In the afternoon the venue is the home of a music school which currently has around 30 students with guitar, piano, singing and violin courses and a language school with English and Arabic courses: every year these permanent courses are joined short workshops and laboratories covering the most disparate activities (photography, photoshop, painting, creative writing).
A pub: to complete the service offered, a bar was born inside the Coopera headquarters, first, and a pub, recently: every day it is possible to enjoy excellent drinks accompanied by burgers and bagels, all combined and prepared with innovation and creativity.
Coopera currently employs around ten young people, involved both in the activities of the cultural center and in the catering and bartending activities.
